THINGS TO DO
A central focus of the resort, our large 12m x 6m salt water pool is nestled in our lush tropical gardens. Gather up your sarong, sunscreen and a good book and head to the pool for some well deserved R&R.
Feeling energetic or adventurous? Our guests fill their days exploring the most pristine snorkelling grounds on the island, either snorkelling kayaking or walking. Or when you want to venture further a field and off the beaten track, hire a bicycle and explore around the local area or even around the island ( only about 1.5hrs round trip). Other popular means of transport to explore the island is the motor scooter or feel the refreshing breeze while driving your convertible.
But that is not all.. The sailing club and more water sports equipment hire services are just down the beach or you can indulge in a glass bottom boat tour over the magnificent reef. Filling in your days will never be a problem, try snorkelling safaris, scuba diving, bush walks, island 4x4 safaris, deep sea game fishing, cultural village tours or a bit of pearl shopping; all available within a few minutes’ walk or pick-up from the resort. Or the most popular evening entertainment, an island night including a sumptuous feast of local delicacies and a vibrant show of traditional dancing and drumming. And our resort reception can offer advice on your best options for tours and book them for you.
If you feel like heading out to experience some of the local eateries, Muri Beach is home to some of the best restaurants on Rarotonga. As well as our own Nautilus Restaurant we have other great places to dine all within 10 minutes walk from our front door. If you would like to experience the nightlife of Rarotonga, a short trip into town will reveal a variety of hot spots to entertain you; live music, nightclubs, or a quiet bar to meet new friends, are all there.
